anyway, i was wondering what happened to the thread that used to be stickied that had information for newer players? I remember it had a list of champions and what their general role/playstyle is, and I found that really helpful when I was starting and trying to figure out which champions i'd like. and also, why isn't there a thread or anything explaining liquidparty (except for once sentence in the summoner's thread)? i think i'd like to start playing w/ TL people (I don't think I've ever arranged to play with people over the internet before...) but i'm not really sure what to expect and i've never seen anyone say anything in the liquidparty chat (granted i haven't spent much time there) | ||

Also Im really loving nocturne since I kinda get the flexibility to gank/farm according to the situation. His ganks are decent and his clear speed is pretty good too so I can always just farm up or counterjungle if I'm not able to get decent ganks. Unlike shaco/xin where I just feel kinda useless if I don't get a couple kills early on. Happy birthday smash :D | ||

He was fully cognizant of the shift toward "carry junglers", particularly around the time when Udyr, Nocturne, Trundle, etc. were all super strong in the old jungle off of a LOT of farm. He made that clear on stream/in blogs/etc. The problem is TSM has never picked or played to a style allowing him to farm that way, so he simply doesn't get any practice playing that way (and doesn't have any incentive to in solo queue when his team isn't going to play him to that style in tournaments). The worst is when TSM picks junglers that are clearly awful as supportive picks and then still TOO gets shoehorned into his supportive role. Honestly, just think about the personalities at work here. Suppose you've got a situation where the jungler got behind and needs to pick up some CS in lane to catch up. Think how that situation would play out between TOO and Regi.
