While valid points, Regi owns TSM and Hotshot owns CLG. These players do have notoriously huge flaws but the fact remains is they own their respective teams. That shouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things. The 4 other members can just leave the team and form a new one if it comes down to it

Actually, iirc Jiji owns CLG, but Hotshot is the frontman / manager because Jiji is too aloof to want to be / is too busy playing with t3h kitties. Don't know if it's still the case, but I can't imagine it's different.
e: Looked at CLG's page, Hotshot is definitely the CEO of Counter Logic Gaming now. He probably de facto owns the team now, at the very least, though I do know that CLG was originally Jiji.

Yeah Regi isn't going to leave his own team anytime soon
I doubt having players owning their own teams is the best thing for this game tbh. They can act however the f they want without having to think about getting fired (sure they could lose profit by behaving badly, but they won't be kicked off their own team).

Reingald and hotshot are e-sports icons. That's like asking boxer to leave slayers because he's not at MMA's caliber of play.
|
Hotshot is significantly better as a business owner, though. CLG has lots of arguments but there's no element of you have to back down, which isn't the case with Reginald. He HAS to win the argument.

Ugh, at least bother to watch tournaments in Europe before stating "we havent seen enough of him in tourney play", It's statements like these that make you state stuff like "aAa is a b tier team" (according to hannover, everyone in europe besides M5 must be B tier) or "Maokai cannot be used v M5" (dunno which character snoopeh was playing in Kings of Europe then).
S Tier Toplaners Europe: Wickd, Angush, Darien

The problem is that reginald needs to be babysat by theoddone cause reginald cant hang solo vs the top ap carries, this in turn gives other lanes less ganks cause oddone has to constantly focus on mid.
Ganks at top lane are very important, so when you aren't getting them it sucks, so TRM looked like he was doing worse than he was.
Of course reginald will never get benched, but dyrus will not fix their problems.
Also trm is a better player than dyrus, dyrus is sorta like hotshot, he likes sitting top all game farming, his teleports are sluggish, and his rotates are sluggish.

Farming a lot is fine, as long as you can convert farm into very strong teamfighting. TSM has adapted to having basically 2 deadweight bruisers in terms of a damage threat, and their teamcomps rely heavily on regi and chaox doing all the damage. TRM and Oddone never get kills on their own.
Hotshot can win games by farming so much and split pushing, it's just he throws games as well getting caught way easier than he should.

S Tier Toplaners Europe: Wickd, Angush, Darien First- dont assume I dont watch EU tourneys. I do.
HOWEVER. and its a MASSIVE FUCKING HOWEVER. If you want to be S teir, you have to crush people EVERYWHERE. Not just on EU server. Up to this point, darien is the only top lane IN THE WORLD who has proven he can bring his style and crush the shit out of everyone, no matter where he is or where they are from.
Saint does that. TSM bot lane (pre funk) did that. THAT is S teir. Its not "Oh these are all good top laners." Cuz everyone you listed is. Its "If my life was on the line, would I draft this person onto my team." Darien has proven that. Wickd and Anguish have not had the opportunity to prove that (WIckd vs US teams recently) or failed to prove that (Anguish vs US teams at Hannover).
And the Maokai vs M5 was hyperbole. You obviously can run whatever you want. But Snoopeh is the only jungle I would rank with SV and DIamonds atm, and you need a full, good team to do it.

Considering the MSI Nvidia trophy at Poitiers,France is coming up soon, It's going to be fun :D.

Angush wasn't even in Hannover. You are thinking of sOAz.

Then Darien isn't S Tier, you're just running off whatever is hot at the moment, Darien hardly ever wins lanes vs Angush or Wickd, unless it's a champion advantage. He's the one on M5 that goes on super hardcore tilt if his team is losing, you only have to look at the recent MSI Nvidia trophy qualifiers to see that.

I feel lux plays like the dota windrunner. Ability to stun two champions with one skillshot, an huge line aoe spell.
BTW. How does riot make it's money? Is it purely off skins?

I know quite a few people buy champs with RP. i do it when champions are on sale.

So how is the scene for new comers, is there many new faces in the scene lately, seems like league is one of the more likely scenes to break into and make a splash but I haven't really researched it at all.

(not in order)
Top teams 6 months ago EUW: SK, Fnatic, Sypher Top teams today EUW: CLGeu, aAa, AL, M5 (there are too many new unproven teams atm in euw such as Na'vi, TCM etc)
Top teams 6 months ago NA: Dignitas, CLG, TSM, Epik Top teams today NA: Dignitas, CLG, TSM, Curse, Epik, v8(?)
Think that should be correct
EUW is incredibly volatile and unstable with teams forming and disappearing. NA seems a lot more stable.

Are we seeing many new individual faces outside of new teams or is it basically get picked up by a top teir team or nothing as far as scene recognition.

AL is basically new faces, so is M5 aAa are forming then disbanding then reforming again zzzz CLGeu are SK's old jungler and top + basically a new AP mid + an old botlane that really haven't played for anyone

Tell me (us) moar abot Angush plz. Without looking it up, I don't even know what team he's on or what champs he's good with... >_> Apparently I'm missing out if you're ranking him up there with Dar1en.

what a coincidence that you guys were talking about taric top, and, seperately, dyrus. dyrus rolling some 1600 morde right now with taric top.

He's on AL, remember the time I told you that m5 basically only respects mTl.tt and CLGeu? Well mTl.tt got picked up by AL (they did have some roster changes with their jungler and support)
His main champs are Akali, Ryse, Riven, Tryndamere and Ahri. He taught Wickd how to play Riven and is still considered the best Riven in Europe.
|
M5 doesn't respect the US. The US needs to show dem Russians who's boss. Can't let them run around owning every tourney anymore, even though they deserve dem wins.
