i like TF for ap because he can gank very easily, is hard to dominate in lane due to his ability to farm from afar if needed, and his likewise very good gank assist for early ganks udyr rumble lee irelia as mentioned above are very versatile top laners | ||

But I usually have trouble with him The following: * Pre-6 anyone with a ranged auto attack can do really well against Kassadin, since Kass can only retaliate with his rather mana hungry silence and has to get into melee range to last hit. * Any AD char (bruiser/carry) does well, since their damage isn't negated through the silence and Kassadins passive has no effect. * Champs that can push hard, forcing Kassadin to the tower, not letting him roam. * Champs that can negate his damage do well, be it through sustain or through shields. If you just pick to counter him, pick Pantheon, keep him at 10 cs for the laning phase and when he tries to roam just mandrop after him. | ||

Galio is another AP who does rather well against kassadin since he's innately very MR heavy/tanky and is one of the strongest pushers in the game. Putting bruisers mid, Tryndamere, Gangplank, Pantheon are pretty damn good against him. | ||

Ahri is definitely NOT a soft counter to LeBlanc. Ahri doesn't push well. Not well enough against LeBlanc anyway because Ahri will die in the process. Galio's best counter is Vladimir (as far as AP are concerned). Vladimir outsustains Galio and his harass is targetted, not a skillshot. | ||
