He actually has been a League of Legends player since before it was cool.... About 1 month after we launched the game in North America. I met him on an airplane headed into Denver -- I was flying to LA via Denver, and he was returning to his district I believe.
The conversation went something like:
Me: "What do you do?"
Him: "I'm in politics. How about you?"
Me: "Game design."
Him: "Any games I would've heard of?"
Me: "You wouldn't have heard of what I work on now, but I used to work on WoW and War3"
Him: "Oh, I used to play Warcraft 3, but I play League of Legends now."
Me: "Hah, I'm the design director on that."
Pretty amazing random meeting.

Always push, never not push, crazy burst with lichbane, OP spears, nice heal to aid teammates in fights, and then when the situation is right just jump in and maul everyone to dealth.
Requires high APM & the being able to keep rageblade at max stats constantly is retardedly good. Love the decision making required to play here effectively - using heals, switching forms, when to jump in with cougar, when to hang back and chuck spears and heal allies. :D

Yeah, people seriously underestimate the pain it causes. Hard as shit to aim, though.

MTL complained a bit that this is non nerfed Udyr. Given their jungler is Nocturne it's understandable as it might have decided the top fight early on. But yeah Volibear really helps the jungler's ganks.

Oh TSM won a scrim. Grats to them. Volibear and a Udyr were pretty good that game. Just a couple of bears. Wondering if they'll run Udyr in tourneys after due to the nerf though.

Highlight:
Rainman went 13/1 as volibear
Went 4/0 in lane vs. rumble, and at one point Oddone and TRM got caught after killing inhib tower, TOO died running away, while TRM was stuck and forced to 1v4 the enemy team and somehow managed kill nunu and then get away.

He still is one of the better junglers out there. Tankiness, CC, sustain, and crazy fast farm times. He's not Skarner, but he's top 3 to 5 at least.

Incidentally, a large component of Venge's power is not her CC (500 range single-target stun for less than 2 seconds is not that amazing in the scheme of DotA), but because of how insanely well her % AD increase and armor reduction scale lategame.

Between Gravity and Death. Power seems nice, but the speed boost and health aren't nearly as useful as the other two.
Gravity is better if you're passively laning for longer, for the mana and mp5. It also makes W stop ganks even harder, and it becomes a pretty damn good teamfighting tool with the range on it. CDR is it's best part, though.
Death is my go-to. It's pretty cheap for the amount of damage you get from it. It's a good chunk of damage, which allows you to grab tanky caster items like WotA and Rylai without worrying about falling too far behind in damage.
