By the time I realized I was supposed to win 1v5 against fed bots it was too late.
This.
Happened once when I tried support Janna for the first time ever. From that game I learned support only works when you have a team to support. Can't kill stuff with no AP/AD.
Second time I was playing Cho and just fucking around, seeing how he was since he's been nerfed. (He's clearly not as good.) Had a bunch of players that game who had never used their champions before and were sub-level 30. (There is no MM for Coop games. Tru fax! Also the bots seem to gain more gold/time than normal.) Seems I fucked around too long because I didn't have enough AP to nuke them all down, and wasn't tanky enough to tank crazy fed bots for long...could only feastnuke one per lost teamfight. 
It is pretty much impossible to lose if you push at least a little and kill the bots a few times in the beginning, but yeah...let the game go 35-40 min if you and your whole team is underfed or underfarmed and let me know how that goes. In fact...screenshot/replays? Callin' you out BP2.

No you just have to play properly. First of all you should always be at mid and nowhere else, second, you just wait for them to start pushing, then push yourself and they'll go defend, then run away and repeat

I won a game where I actively tried NOT to harass or kill the bots.
We started 4v5 and our 2 top fed. But by the time I finished boots of mobility, chalice, and zeal I was simultaneously pushing all 3 lanes. I got an assist accidentally now and then though :M
I ended with 578 cs in 35 minutes.

I got trolled by a co-op duo queue once, as they left right at the beginning after some taunting. Still won handily with 3v5 from the beginning. Kog+Irelia+Olaf too good.

This was back when I was level 3 and i still thought Shadow Dash did damage.

Yeah, I only started playing like 2-3 days after Co-op was introduced.

Dunno, but this sounds a little too tryhard for my taste.
Also why would you go mid? Annie Bot will toast you! Just go somewhere else and let her push imo, you can't hold the tower against her anyways.

There's some lanecomps that are really difficult 1v2, especially if your lanemate feeds them. If you go mid there always is only 1 bot vs you

Actually, I think there's a nice psychological trick with that phrase. As soon as you type "don't fight" in chat, everyone else on your team goes berserk. Like "that singed is so low and looks alone, we must kill him so we fight 4v4 next".
Then some retard starts pinging you non-stop and harassing with "y u never fight with us".

Just had a game with AP Tf, I was doing allright, except EVERY TIME I tried to split push, my team engaged and blaming me for all that could be blamed.
Funny I was the only on the team consistently doing his job in teamfights, but EVERYTIME I split pushed they couldnt engage with baron when it was 4v3 at mid turret and I had ulti (they went back.........................)
And they blamed me FUCKING CONSTANTLY for "not being for teamfights when he is splitpushing and we cant stall baron, we MUST engage, there is no second best thing"
Sigh, rant done. FUck the solo queue some times its some of the most frustrating thing ever.
I should prem with TL'ers more, such easygoing attitude is missed :')

Top was garen + morgana vs MF + soraka. Garen went 0-7 in about 5 mins and then rq. Morg went 0-2 and disconnected for about 90% of the game, when she did reconnect she would run top, farm a wave, disconnect, then die again. We had some cait that just ran around doing nothing, like farming jungle creeps for 30 minutes. Thus top 2 turrets were lost and mid 2 turrets were lost.
My friend was Karthus who never played him before and is a really, really bad Karthus. I was Nid. I essentially 1v5ed the bots. We at one point lost an inhib and my friend was crying "we're going to lose a bot game!!??" so I literally just walked up to their base and BD'd 2 inhibs. They recalled/ran back to defend and I just go "And you were saying?" From there on I just killed the 3rd inhib turret + inhib and finished off the nexus turrets and nexus with supers.
So, sup? You don't fight bots directly if you need to 1v5. You just go to their base and go kill a turret/inhib. They always will recall/run back and you will usually get the inhib.

Keep in mind your optimal job changes when the players behind the other 4 champions on your team change. Think of it like a stag hunt problem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stag_hunt
If you *know* your teammates aren't going to hunt the stag (they aren't smart enough, or whatever reason), then it may be in your best interest to play "suboptimal" as well and just push with the team.
But yea I agree it's frustrating when you have dumb teammates.
