how does a 1v1 tourney work, do you just play a normal game, but with only 1 person on each team,? killing nexus is still the goal?

cs doesn't matter, you can pick any champ once in the tourney, any summoners or runes, etc

Revive was banned at some point... so that you couldn't suicide (without the opponent touching you) and then come into lane with revive buff. I'm unsure whether it is still in fact banned.

Technically you could suicide to the jungle or a sidelane tower, which doesn't give away firstblood, and then use the revive bonus to wreck your enemy.
No idea if it's usally banned or not though.
