i lol every time i see someone bring up sunfire damage and MPen unironically. you realize the most damage you can do with sunfire is 40/second right? the difference between no 15% MPen and 15% Mpen is going to be like 4-7 damage/second TOPS. also spamming vorpal makes it so you run out of energy, which means less taunts which are shen's main purpose so you don't want to do that. and as for ki strike, assuming you rush their carry and try to push him away... how is 15% additional MPen going to help on a champ that's not even building MR? lmao, three languages, obviously none of them are math

so... i think we can all agree now that we are no longer looking at what "top players" do and instead looking at what makes sense. i've never seen laoching play, but for all i know he's just 100x more mechanically solid than anyone else and he could run 0/0/0 with all avarice runes and do just as well.

here's some reasons why u go 21 in util tree
ms boost from the mastery and runes makes u a god early to mid game
the 15% summoner reduction is the best thing in game period
those 2 things alone makes util worth it

as for the magic pen and math,if u think the bonuses it gives are shit go do the math for the 9 points in defensive masterys and see if u think their anywhere near comparable

i love how most low elo players think that the high elo's dont theorycraft and test diffrent builds and find which one is the most optimal
im 100x sure than laoching is and always will be 1000x more mechanically solid than you ever will be and im 10000x more sure that he experimented with diffrent builds until he found one that is streamlined and effcicent

also I get 0/7 instead of 9/0 because I'm too scrub to instaturnaround after bombing someone. (I blame my internets.) The mpen will only be a significant boost to lategame bomb damage on people with at least one MR item, but Strength of Singed gives me a stronger early game. Iono, I feel worthless if I don't gimp someone else completely out of farm, and being able to actually trade harass against people that can hurt me back when I try to bomb them helps.
It also makes losing lanes a little less painful.
The 3% CDR and small amount of AP is slightly more interesting, but I can use 23 points in utility. Iono. I like to be bulky.

Regarding any type of builds, I think it's all a matter of playstyle. I enjoy the playstyle set forth by Laoching. It's a highly aggressive build, the Shen burst from Ki Strike/Vorpal shouldn't be overlooked especially in the laning phase. The move speed and CDR for both summoners and skills allows you to taunt more frequently and land them more often which is the main thing which differentiates the imba Shens from the average Shens imoimo aside from abusing Shen's ulti.

Yeah, nunu is boss. Especially with all the healing nerfs recently. his late game kinda falls off except for blood boiling the carry, but he makes a name for himself in the early and midgames easily.

Nunu ganks are also highly scary. his snowball is frightfully effective for getting kills. Just make sure you get a bv first if you want any chance of getting an ulti off.

cool i started out with taric til 30
then switched to nunu fairly recently i like his moves
will have to work on jungling now lol (could never do well in there with taric)
