Why are people arguing about the Shen build? It's Laoching's Shen build, Loco is kind enough to provide it. You can choose to follow it, or you can choose not to. That's it, isn't it?

Is anyone decent friends with Kobe? I want to pick his brain on olaf and jungling in general, because i feel as though that is a part of my game i need to work on, how to carry the game from the jungle in particular.

here's a reason you don't go 21 in utility: there are 15/16 points that are either unusable or impractical on shen: 3 perseverance (not only the worst mastery, shen has no mana), 4 expanded mind (no mana), 3 meditation (no mana), 2 utility mastery (shen will not have a buff unless jungling), 1 insight (no mana), and then take your pick at 2 or 3 of the summoners being useless because you only get 2 summoner spells so having a mastery in a spell you don't have is dumb. 16 points being unusable means there are at most 14 points that you can make use of in that tree, BUT most of the unusable ones are higher in the tree than the usable ones so you're forced to burn SEVEN mastery points to get 15% summoner reduction. those seven points could be used on armor, mr, ap, dodge, you know, things shen actually uses instead of mana. 15% summoner reduction isn't even good on shen unless you're running teleport anyways. he's not galio/annie that always needs his flash up.
i lol every time i see someone bring up sunfire damage and MPen unironically. you realize the most damage you can do with sunfire is 40/second right? the difference between no 15% MPen and 15% Mpen is going to be like 4-7 damage/second TOPS. also spamming vorpal makes it so you run out of energy, which means less taunts which are shen's main purpose so you don't want to do that. and as for ki strike, assuming you rush their carry and try to push him away... how is 15% additional MPen going to help on a champ that's not even building MR? lmao, three languages, obviously none of them are math
so... i think we can all agree now that we are no longer looking at what "top players" do and instead looking at what makes sense. i've never seen laoching play, but for all i know he's just 100x more mechanically solid than anyone else and he could run 0/0/0 with all avarice runes and do just as well.

also you can get off laoching's dick now unless you like the taste, fact is i'm simply the best shen, my guide is the definitive guide, and that's that

Loco streams on solomid.net. Just check their site, it should tell you who the active streamers are in their stream interface.

Solomid.net, then go to the solomid tv tab. It has a list of all of the streams, loco is often on solomid 1 or 2. Also check out clg, jiji, feel no fear and nicosharp.
