going to get renekton for some fun, what does teamliquid suggest on a decent renekton build? mastery and rune page set-ups etc etc...

he seems like a very squishy melee fighter, that dies almost instantly when focused down, kinda at a lost for me...

I'm trying to pick up Shaco to jungle, but it seems like the creep AI targeting system is random at times. Like I hit creep then drag to boxes for fear then start autoing but sometimes they keep targeting me and it forces me to go heal. Is there a trick to getting creeps to always target boxes?

I would take a look at what Elementz has been doing with Renekton. I think he's easily been the most successful with the new hero.

last I checked, elementz was doing d-shield -> cdr boots -> brutalizer -> sunfire -> randuins or something along those lines. I think his spec was really weird too, something like 23/6/1 with arpen/arpen/armor/mres. I don't remember the runepage clearly, but I seem to recall 23/6/1 because I found it so odd.

I think the fear from the boxes resets their aggro--so when the fear ends they aggro to the first thing that attacks them (which should be the boxes, but sometimes it's you).

23/6/1 sounds right. It was basically the 21/8/1 (or 21/7/2) that's commonly used but without Strength of Spirit since it has no use on Renek.

Where do those last 2 points in offense go? I would be very tempted to throw those into utility for Good Hands, assuming it's Alacrity or Offensive Mastery. Good Hands doesn't seem to get the love it deserves... I could have won a game today if my allies had had Good Hands. They all had Perseverance, I could tell from the death timers. They sure earned that loss though...

I honestly don't know why you wouldn't go 21/0/9. I think getting exp mastery and greed outweighs 6 armor+mres.

From the few Renekton games I have seen (admittedly all pretty bad), I feel he's really weak at low levels. 6/6 ar/mres would help during those early times, but 5% exp would help him get those levels he needs...

Imo Alacrity is a really weak mastery. More valuable on Junglers of course.

Maybe they're regretting hte leaver buster they did claim that only 10% of people warned get banned and they've banned 10,000 accounts... do the math that's quite a lot of people getting warned by leaver buster.

and before someone comes in here and says some shit like THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS and WHAT ABOUT THE JUNGLER and THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN A REAL GAME
just some fun theorycrafting in this post tbh

what champs do you guys think are the strongest at each of the first 9 levels? disregarding summoners, like what champs are the scariest at each point in laning?
my thoughts:

level 1: blitzcrank. one good hook wins a level 1 teamfight or gets an easy first blood in lane against careless opponents. i can't think of any 1 skill that's more frightening. second is ashe mb? volley + guaranteed crit is massive level 1 damage. maybe twitch, if you stealth for full time and catch 1 guy pushed too far in mid.

level 2: xin zhao? Q + E = your life gone, his passive keeps him alive through your harass. sion for sure, stun + shield so much damage. akali imo, shroud forces you out of lane or you eat 2 Qs and 2 auto attacks.

level 3: panth. i assume. i don't play panth and rarely play against him. but this allows him to spear stun HSS right? scary strong.

need some opinions on the levels in between here

...

level 9: vlad, derp. 0.01 second c/d on a 1200 damage nuke that heals him to full health wow this champ sure is fun to play against.

what do you guys think?
