Having a more structured information system will not only yield more results but allow people to actually take in everything that is being discussed in various conversations. That being said you sure like to start trouble.

I don't know how well adding LoL streams to TL would work, seeing as many streams we watch have nothing to do with TL? as in the streamers won't come in and update their stream status?

The ones listed on the top right as TL'ers only anyway. Hotshotgg's stream doesnt show up there, you have to post in some thread and chill adds it to the stream list.

I'm sure that this forum could bring a ton of non-sc players into the TL.net fold and generate tons of traffic and maybe money? LoL is a pretty popular game, especially among casuals, because it is free to play. A lot of sc players even play (like nony, why wastes time playing LoL instead of sc2 lol)

Eh, a little troublesome. :[ Would be nice if we can get our little subforum on the Forum Overview at the very bottom, maybe above Blogs. But if the official admin stance is ok, I can live with it.

Could be in the misc section, just under the mafia forum :O i don't know if that's asking 2 much though. i guess you are the mod here ![]() edit: On November 04 2010 07:55 HazMat wrote: Obviously it's a SC site but what made the thread great is that people would see it be in top 5 sports/games forum all the time, check the thread, and install. Anyone who checks TL now will not know about this game and will never play with us :/ This is very true :3 edit 2: A way to keep the old lol thread #1 under the sports & game section? people clicking it could easily see the "click here to go to the lol subforum" i don't know if its doable i don't know if they will agree

That being said you sure like to start trouble. Not really, I just disapprove of forums being nothing more than your pseudo-social circle-jerk. Constructive and meaningful advice and insight into how the game is played at the highest level is useful. Reading 2 pages of people claiming to be me or having my Ashe build (which I specifically corrected to be for the 1200 solo queue range) brought up HUNDREDS of pages later is garbage. This is all really just a farce. The illusion is that there are "good" players on these boards and they give meaningful advice. Part of the farce is the fact that amateurs inherently don't know the correct questions to ask. Where's the guide explaining why a jungler is needed in high level games? Where's the guide about the importance of having an initiator? Where's the guide saying "If you want to win, don't just pick your favourite champ."? Having it all lumped up in one thread allowed what is mostly bullshit to still pass by. Now I'm going to have to check some unnecessary forum and see the same old garbage that I always do, except now I can't wait a few hours and it's a different page with new garbage to read. Let alone the easily foreseen issue of how all this "information" (Read, some guys opinion on the internet speaking to other people with opinions, all of which may or may not be correct) is going to be "organized" or even relevant in any way shape or form.
