Gear Gaming has put together an event for the community, sort of a preview to The Crucible coming up on our very own HGC, by hosting a tournament where the top amateur teams in NA will have a chance to play against some of the current NA HGC teams. Moving into the second week the four remaining amateur teams, LFM, Gear Gaming, 3D, and Thunder Awakens will be playing against the invited pro HGC teams, Gale Force eSports, Naventic, No Tomorrow, and Team Freedom. Each will be a bo3 match, with two being played on Tuesday the 28 and two being played on Thursday the 30th starting at 6 PM PST. Match ups will be announced tonight on our The Maelstrom pre-show at 5 PM PST. The third and final week will see our semi-finals, third place match, and grand finals played out on April 5th and 6th. Preshows will air Mondays on the 20th, 27th, and the 3rd at 5 PM PST. The entire event will be cast by CavalierGuest, and Grizz. Stream the match ups for this week will be LFM vs No Tomorrow Gear Gaming vs Gale Force eSports 3D vs SuperStarS Thunder Awakens vs Team Freedom. The amateurs will also have one additional advantage over the pro teams. For the first game they will have first pick AND map pick. | ||

It has similar format as other regions. But to avoid time clash, it will be always on Monday and Tuesday. The time is similar to HGC KR. No news on an official EN stream, since no EN casters are there. | ||
