I've visited the ESL site before to check out the leagues and standings, but the information presentation seems really convoluted.
I'm interested to find out how close the Evil Geniuses team was to making it to the Group stage. I know the Evil Geniuses team made it last time, but I can't figure it out for this season.

Evil Geniuses broke up and is no longer a team. I expect the organization to pick up a new team down the road but Idra and crew are no more sadly.

Oh wow, that I didn't expect a major team to disband so quickly. That is sad.
Also, anyone want to make a thread for the European ESL stuff?
Khaldor's currently casting and I would love to find a schedule somewhere.

EG has had roster issues for a long time and weren't performing the way they wanted to so, while sad, it wasn't unexpected. I thought I saw a post like this from Khaldor but I can't find it, if I do I'll PM you Wuster.

Are there VODS for this? Twitch confuses me, I'm getting old.

I recall they lost in the qualifiers. For some reason ESL has been their kryptonite.

A long history, trying to make it short:
They lost vs ASH, first game Lucifron and Vortix where DDOSed and they lost game 1 playing 3Vs5, there is even a reddit post about it. Match was postponed ASH cry over reddit becouse they didnt want to rematch and finally ESL decided to play only game 2, once again Teamliquid was DDOSed lucifrom and vortix couldnt lay and they used 2 subs but also blackscop was DDOSed and they lost 4vs5.
Important to note that during the games in the russian stream the toppic was DDOS Blackscopr, etc etc, now teamliquid reject the russian streams every time they play against ASH.

The spanish armada really needs a backup connection. ~.~ And ESL should regame on short notice without audience.

2nd game was played that way and same happened.

Regaming without audience is useless if the ddosers already have lucifron & vortix ip addresses. Strange that this kind of things already happen on a game with such low playerbase/viewers
|
It doesn't take an army of people to ddos someone unfortunately.
And that's right, I forgot they ended up forfeiting basically due to the connection problems. Was a crappy situation all around.
BTW, was the Russian stream an official ESL restream? Like they had an observer and everything?
Also, ASH is also called Team Arthas when you watch ESL.

Hope it's ok to bump this since it's still an on-going event.
So Zuna might be replacing Glaurong on Tempo Storm? That would be interesting. I thought he was going to form his own team, but I guess this is a really good opportunity.
Also, the dates in the schedule are slightly off...
