Uh... they are still very much around. My uncle (o.O) showed me one when I was last there in 2004, and I don't think they're that hard to find. You can probably find them in the vicinity of any porn vending machine.

It depends on how you want to categorize rape. The wimpering thing is common place, like HT said, and not related to violence. The amount of forced/fondled stuff is pretty high, even if it's not as extreme as the stuff where they pretend to hit girls.
