He was the shit back in the 80's and early 90's. Kids nowadays can't even imagine how big of a hypestorm this guy produced by simply walking down a street. I saw him live and there is just no comparison.
In the 80's when he used to sing live you could really feel his power and style, just pure talent there. Mixed with the coolest most copied dance moves ever you got nothing but great energy. I do have all his albums on vinyl and used to play that shit up and down.
What he did for the last...let's say 10 years is his business, i don't give a fuck. He was crazy yes, but he was fucking MJ non fucking stop, 24/7. To quote pac "And you could walk a mile in my shoes and you'd be crazy too".

When I was a lot younger, I believed all the media nonsense about him being a pedo, but I don't anymore. They play several of his songs at some of the bars/clubs I go to out here), but I think it may have been best for him as his tortured soul is now at rest.
Lastly, I'm kind of surprised that these new people aren't being outright banned instead of temp banned. Some of the comments are just so unnecessary, it'd be nice to see a few perms in this thread.

It pains me to say that Raithed's DID make sense and wasn't THAT bad. Masturbating -> Higher heart rate -> Heart attack.

It's a pretty big stretch, in my opinion. Hence "very little." It wasn't THAT bad, I agree, but it also wasn't funny at all. I didn't think "wow, dumbest thing I've ever seen," but I did think "that's not funny."

I think I can appreciate Michael Jackson's music more now that he's dead. Hopefully that will be the larger part of his legacy. It seems like a lot of people are coming around to the fact that he might have just wanted to be a kid rather then a pedophile.
