For someone who never had a childhood and spent millions and years of his life chasing something he never truly found - and wrecking his public image in the process, he did amazing things. Then again, it simply wouldn't have been Michael Jackson if he wasn't such an enigma. RIP.

it's hard enough to believe that we lost the musical icon of the last 20+ years...

but it's even harder to believe that so many people don't seem to care... so many people go out of their way to tell others that they don't care that MJ died... and even say that he was an evil man, being there vast evidence to the contrary

my older brother, when told of MJ's death, was like "really? heh", smiled and went about his business

it seems no matter how much you do for the world, there are still people who will hate you, what the fuck... i'm sure there will be haters when Bill Gates dies too... we humans are such a sad bunch of idiots

RIP MJ and for what it's worth, i greatly value his contributions to music and to world peace

You can really tell how a society and a certain group of people live their lives, and what they value the most when they say they "i don't care", or "good riddance", when they're saying it to one of the biggest and most important musical artists in modern time.

You might not know how many of todays pop artists that you worship today that all took inspiration and learned from Michael jacksons music, from his moves, from his beats, from his stageshows.
Michael jacksons pretty much paved the way for pop music to what it is today.

It's fucked up when people write pedofile to a great artist, a dead artist, who lost his childhood beacuse he worked 24/7 to pursue his dreams of becoming the legend he is today.
Nothing has ever been proven against him, and now we'll never find out what was really true.

Instead of speculation and making assumptions, lets celebrate the fact that he was the greatest musical artist this world will ever see. Some might say Elvis or beatles were the greatest but MJ had by far the biggest impact and reputation worldwide.
