If our treatment of the world around us reflects any way on our character then it's no surprise we're so ruthless and emotionless at times. Such is our nature... nothing can be done about it. The more you care the more you suffer... Michael Jackson was a legend may he rest in peace. My favourite song, by far, of his:

We are not a "for profit" enterprise. We are not funded by any governments. This means we run the site the way we see fit. We are not obligated to observe anyone's notions of "free speech" or even "fairness." From the 10 commandments. Anyways, I'm not a huge MJ fan, but it's cool to see so many people cared. Some of his music was fun to listen to. And "Get On The Floor" is a classic in my book

Freedom of speech doesn't include any privately owned forums of speech and expression. The owners can moderate them however they want. Someone needs to go back to Gov class.

Everyone liked Michael Jackson in the 80's. I guess everyone making fun of him was born in the 90's or something. Grow up.

Funnily though i didnt really start to appreciate his legacy until he died. Always dissmised him as wacko jacko the pedo but reading up on some stuff makes me feel like an idiot for blindly trusting the tabloid press. EDIT: ugh reading up on this shit is making my eyes tear up... and im usually a cold fuck who likes to be sarcastic about real world tragic events.

1°) People that were here for Bad, Thriller and Dangerous. 2°) People that came after that era... where IMO his albums were way worst, and when he began to lose his nose and supposedly, his dignity. I belong to the first category, and will remind him as the amazing performer he then was.

I mean, MJ was a great singer and dancer, but that is all tha he was... A singer and a dancer. You may argue that his music had a great positive effect in his fans, and maybe it is true, but in the end they are just pop songs, how could pop song make any significant differece in the world?, i would bet that every single day at least one person dies that made a more important contribution to our world than MJ, yet nobody cares about people like that, why should non fans of him care about his death? His music means nothing to me, i dont like it. Im sure that all of his fans are very sad about his death, which makes sense, but i dont see from where this attitude of "everyone should be sad about his death" comes from. Unless you weren't completely serious with tha comment, and in that case i just owned myself.

Jackson donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his foundations, charity singles, and support of 39 charities. (A record for any artist or entertainer) He was more than music.
