I think we should all get on his case about the LOL thing so that as he dies the last thing going through his head is bitterness at how unsympathetic and cruel his "friends" on the internet are, given that maybe those are the only people he can currently reach out to. I think I'll now go and kill someones pet.

You know some people laugh when they are in shock or under big stress, so It's not an obvious thing he laughs at people who are dying or did die already.

On topic - that's pretty scary. Viruses have very "smart" evolution pattern. I always wondered why immune system can't evolve as fast as viruses, what's in there so catalytic in them.

Oh just give the guy a break about using a LOL. People are using LOL in lots of circumstances and they aren't necessarily laughing at it, some people are using it as OMFG nowadays a lot... like: LOL my girlfriend left me, LOL my friend got stabbed by somoene.

One less retard/asshole in the world if you die, I guess...o.O

On topic, good luck... you should go to a small shop and do provisions so you can stay in the house for a week or so until this is gone. Also, wear something around your nose/mouth (not sure how that's called, like the ones doctors use) and stay far from people (try not to sit face to face).

This just makes me wonder sometimes.. if a pandemic?epidemic? did break out, especially with virus with long interval between contraction and being symptomatic, while being transmittable. (Whats the word for that? Virulent?) If someone took a plane home a week ago to his home country .... End up with a L4D-esque situation. I think theres very little governments can do once it gets rolling.. Stay safe dude!

Standard reaction. Btw, on the off-topic, I, for example, don't like when people say "rofl" and put "://" sad faces afterwards, that's a lot more weirder for me than an obvious "lol" reaction.
