He doesn't seem alright, he seems like a cocky bastard! And about those friends of him that passed away.. I'm sure it's not easy for him, but I consider it disrespectful to mention them the way he does.. "Hello guys I'm going to win 100k dollars and I'm gonna do it for my friends that passed away!". Well that may not be the right way to put it, but it just feels wrong to me the way he mentions them :/

lol i just noticed swoozie was wearing "the cake is a lie" tshirt
p.s. i still can't find any pgr4 records. they don't have a database for something like this??

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't Forza 2 have been a better choice of racing game?
|
They could have picked a whole slew of games that are better. Virtua Fighter 4? What about SF 3s or ST (they could have even actually picked sf4 which is new even)? Hell even tetris instead of that lame ass rockband game. WCG has always been about selling products and advertising new games. BW and a few other games are just lucky that they have such a huge following that they make it back in every year. Like quake 3 for example, this is one of the best FPS ever (if not the best) and it's been off the lineup since what 2003? They have all these other stupid FPS team games and shit now.
|
If you're gunna make a tv show about video games, you need to pick the most visually "beautiful". Unless some sort of other element makes the game exciting to watch, casted BW games being the best example of this.
Im also a bit dissapointed they picked VF4, its not a bad game but I think its less exciting to watch than any SF game for example.
No matter, what they chose is what you get so we' ll have to be happy with it. Im more curious to know who is gunna be the big champ at the end of this , and how are they gunna determine him the "Ultimate gamer".

My husband was a Pro PGR racer for CGS and he told me for Park Row and using the Class A the pro's normally use, the T1 Caparo, the fastest time is 47-48 seconds. We were not allowed to use the Caparo (sucks cause I practiced with this car thinking that they might use this game as it was a WCG title).
We all had a choice of 3 cars and we chose the Class C car, the Lotus. My hubby just ran 3 laps for me to see and he said (without wall bouncing or other techniques) you should see about 1 minute on this. Of course he was using a controller, so I really don't know how much a wheel effects it, but I can say I would think it is like going from a mouse and keyboard to a controller if that helps lol.
Anyway, one minute is what you should have seen from all of us if we were using a controller at least.

he doesn't anymore obviously, but they did get paid salaries of 30k + bonuses for the first year. They switched to Forza the next and now they are no more.

Janice to Incontrol: Congratulations on the show! She'd tell you herself but she's banned!

I love this show. Me and my pal watch it every week. Very intense and fun.
I know a game like SC could never be used, but imagine for a second if it was... "Congratulations Geoff for winning the physical challenge. Your reward is a 1 on 1 session with the former USA Starcraft BroodWar champion... .... ...."

wcg too poor to afford boxer.

The show is really interesting concept, but I am kind of dissapointed of the commerciality (well its Wcg so what did I expect )
They choose only sponsored games not the best out there, take mediocre gamers with blue lenses/big tits/inControl and wrap it up in the monster massive cliche BigBrother Style emotion hunting. Where are the real A class pros in real hardcore games... Any rich kid with plenty of time and interest in many pop games could do big in the show.
Although I have to admit I liked the Virtua Fighter elimination thingy, although both played terrible the 10% bar in the last game reminded me of my addiction to the coin insert Tekken3 VideoMachine when I was ten.
Also, Where the hell is Inc's trolling and trashtalk we know from TL, do they just cut it out or is inc just holding back in real life?
