He is just a shitty actor and would not give the persona that Riddler would have to have when it comes to Nolan's image. As for Bale not looking like Bruce Wayne, WTF, Bale has been the best yet for Batman. Let me guess, you want George Clooney back? Clooney and Kilmer were unfortunate enough to work under Joel Schumacher so it's impossible to say how good they could have been as Batman. But to answer your question, Keaton was my favorite as Batman, while Clooney is probably the closest to Bruce Wayne out of the 4 that have taken the role. I think Bale is a great actor and have enjoyed many of his movies (Reign of Fire is one of my favorites) he still doesn't look or act like Bruce Wayne to me. Though, if you think about it, Wayne is the most boring persona of the Batman universe and any darkhaired suave actor probably could have played him. Still, Bale has benefitted greatly under Nolan's direction.

I admit, he's been very family-friendly ever since... the 1980's. And I admit anybody in these these new Batman movies has to have a "twisted"/ "dark" element to his character, but that's precisely why Eddie Murphy will work. Him playing The Riddler would be like having Mr. Rogers play a pedophile or Drew Carey an aryan warrior. Wrong in just the right way. Cognitive dissonance FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that is David Tennant. Research him, look at his profile pictures, his starring roles, his accent. He IS The Riddler.

The next movie obviously has two-face as the villain, although I guess they can just store him for later use in Arkham if they really want to do the riddler. Also, if you go for looks alone this is dead on: InToTheWannaB You know who i always thought would make a good riddler was this guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Hyde_Pierce HAHAHA

Batman does not kill people, which they are emphasizing in the new movies, hence he couldn't have killed two-face without betraying the character. 2. They foreshadowed two-faces fake death and cover up, when Gordon pretended to be dead in order to trap the Joker. 3. Gordon and Batman talk specifically about hope dying with the death, "of Harvey's REPUTATION!" carefully chosen words to fool people. 4. They foreshadowed people surviving falls from heights, batman and the girl, batman throwing the crimelord off a balcony, batman falling the exact same distance and getting back up... I can't believe Nolan fooled so many people so effectively.

I can't believe Nolan fooled so many people so effectively. The whole point of blaming the death on Batman was so Harvey's reputation would not have been tarnished, since he turned into two-face and then committed suicide. The whole ending wouldn't make sense if he didn't die from his fall. Plus Batman has body armor so Nuurrrrgh!!

Batman was taking the blame for the murders Harvey committed. Taking Harvey to trial for those murders would have destroyed Gotham's hope, so they blamed them on batman, covered up what Harvey did, and faked his death. I gave my reasons, I'm calling in it now, Two-Face is alive. Feel free to shower accolades on me when I am correct.
