Also, we know what trash the Batman and Robin movie was, so I hope they leave him out, and if they do decide to put him in, make it a minor role.

I too think that Jim Carrey would be fine for The Riddler role again. He can play darker characters really well, which was sort of shown in 23. Johnny Depp would be a good choice too. I just really can't see Eddie Murphy playing this role. He's too comedic. And you know I really don't mean to sound racist at all, but he's black. I just don't think it matches the character itself.

I have faith that Robin and Catwoman wouldn't be cheesy. However I do think it's too much for both of them to be involved in the movie at the same time.

With the way these movies have been, I don't feel that Robin would be a "side-kick" they'd probably make him an independent hero.

Eddie Murphy is not going to be the Riddler, Rachel Weisz is not going to be Catwoman, and the next movie isn't going to be called Gotham. I have it on good authority that no steps have been taken with the next movie, confirmed just a couple of days ago. Which is good, because I didn't want Eddie Murphy ruining the role of the Riddler. He needs to be a much more conniving, calculating character like in the animated series.

What I'd like for these movies to happen is a more inter-wovenness. Villains/storylines should be more interacting. Up til now most movie just have some villain 'pop up' (or possibly two - Venom AND Sandman. What are the oooooooodds) and the movie ends with them leaving the picture again. What I liked about the Dark Knight is that the Joker didn't die and we may see a return of him in a couple of years. Should be interesting. (Too little Two-face though =( )

There is so much talk about Murphy that I'm surprised this gem went unnoticed. Seriously, what the fuck? If this happens, not only will I not see the film, I will find Christopher Nolan everybody else responsible for this travesty and strangle them
