I think water makes people vote democrat.

West Coast, East Coast, Great Lakes Area.

And the rest (except for NM and CO) go to Republicans.

Except in the South.....they are special

EDIT: Maybe if the oceans rose a few feet....Holy Crap, its in Republican's best interest to support global warming!

3. They think they're the party of small government (HAHAHAHAHA)
4. Their obsessive love of democracy created the neocon movement which has been the bane of America's foreign policy.
5. They elected Bush... twice

I dont agree with #1 .... do you have to be so bold with that statement lol

1. there is no invisible omnipotent man in the sky who watches over us 24/7 for all eternity and loves us but made us bad and will send us to be tortured forever if we dont become good.

such a bold statement!

Philosophical Question:

If there is no God and no life after death or before, then is there any such a thing as right vs wrong? Isn't anything that makes you happy right?

humans are hard wired by evolution to behave in a way that makes society possible, that is what defines right and wrong for us. not what some power hungry old men who were afraid of sex wrote in a book.

In another thread, I have a lot I could share. Will keep my eyes open for a thread where we can discuss this.

lol
after seeing your posts in the election threads i look forward to it

Moment Florida falls this should effectively be over. It gives Obama 228 votes ... then just throw in California plus the West Coast states that are gimmes for Obama.

Edit. Wait. 234. Not 228. Miscounted.

that's y they r democrate (us snooby NY and san fran ppl think being liberal is upper class, though if we were really upper class, we'd go republican,)

in Chess there can still be pieces or legal moves. In Checkers nothing can be done by the opponent, no legal moves, or nothing left.

EDIT: In other words, I want my opponent down and out for the count with no hope of recovery. All or nothing.

Obama's presence must have stopped the war!

Must be his deodorant. It also stops global warming and convinces Iran to stop developing nukes and love peace with Israel.

Doesn't look like dems will get the 60 senate spots they were hoping for. 55-57ish most likely?

Only a few very unique 1% of idiots will credit Obama for any major iraq events that happen before he even takes office

At the VERY least I hope that the GOP can filibuster the dems' bill that takes away the voter privacy/anonymity for union votes.

That is one of the things I am most scare about with a completely democrat controlled government.
