The funny thing is, maybe Georgia and North Carolina would be a bit less hardcore conservative, seeing as they have some fairly major port cities. Maybe not historically great immigration centers (well, maybe Atlanta, but that's not a port), but still fairly cosmopolitan. Then again, after Sherman basically razed the South, there probably wasn't much left to build upon...whatever.

Either way, your post uses some of the lamest logic I've seen. Try to think a little bit before you say these kinds of things--some of the assertions you've made could actually go either way based on your premises.
