There are no profits due to the low list price lol. On October 07 2008 13:11 GTR-2-Go wrote: TL should so make a Final Edit book. Originally I wanted to do that, but I figured I'd need to get permission, and the formatting was a pain to carry over into a book tbh.

It's not long their story. It's TL's...? I don't think so. If it is your own post it belongs to you i guess.

(or we won't because the profits are negligible) Lol buy the book and you will realize that it is not including the responses... only the initial blog posts. Also, I told Kennigit you can have 100% of the profits. edit: although I think you would be legally required to request me to remove the book from the market.... unless you paid lawyers a lot of money, your copyright doesn't entitle you to money initially... but this goes into the nitty gritty which I lack knowledge of.

I don't think it's his area of expertise... especially since he suggested suing for copyright infringement based on literature that is not already registered legally. Again I admit I haven't studied it, but I recall reading that you need to spend some money in order to be able to 'go after' someone for stealing your work. But the purpose of simply putting a 'copyright so-and-so' message on a website etc is to make it clear that you will request any violators remove or take down their work. If the violators refuse, then I'm not sure how the law continues... but if tl ever asked me to stop something like that, I would obviously stop. But I am fairly sure it won't be necessary since the whole purpose of the book was to be funny/fun for the tl community, and there is no profit.
