last time i checked, dogs have razor sharp teeth and your fist is really really soft boxing gloves are worn to protect the fists of the puncher, not the body of the receiver of the punch because fists are such a shitty fighting tool to all the people who are saying that a human would win, i double dog dare you (huehhuehue) to go punch a large dog as hard as you can and see if it has any impact on it at all. again, dollars to donuts that it turns around and rips you to shreds. anywhere but the face is going to do absolutely nothing to the dog with their thick leathery skin and matte of fur. hitting a dog moving at this speed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuW84HhN3Wo) in the face would be a miracle. the way that internet-goers overestimate themselves is so funny. i bet 90% of you couldn't kick a soccerball let alone a dog that can jump a 6' fence | ||

Basic self defence trick i've been given as a liveguard. Otherwise, as strange as it sounds, pulling strongly on their ears is very painful to them, not a way to kill obviously but it will at least make it stop biting if you are not willing to kill the beast  | ||

The dog is a pack animal, it would very likely go for something it could reach easily like a leg, because a few dogs doing that could easy take down prey. The human wins. Although in most cases I think the dog will win from what Im seeing from TL (average posters are talking about using their fists to punch the dog WTF - PUNCHING IS NOT GOOD FOR FIGHTING UNLESS YOU ARE TRAINED WITH IT, THE AVERAGE PERSON DOES NOT KNOW JACK SHIT ABOUT PUNCHING AND WILL LIKELY BREAK THEIR WRIST) However - lets say an average sized WILD MAN vs average sized WILD DOG both full on animal instincts, has a bunch of fighting experience due to wild etc etc etc I would vote for the man, hes smarter, and has a lot more weapons (2 hands, 2 legs, various grapples etc etc) A dog can only bite. Even in the case of a smarter human who knows wtf hes doing vs an average sized dog I would still vote for the man. A big dog I cannot say. | ||
