As of right now I see no reason to purchase one of these. I may change my mind should possession of the t-shirt be restricted to a functional elite within the website or if the prices were increased as to endow its possessor with exceptional economic class. As conditions presently stand, wearing the brand logo of tl.net is a net loss, given the lost opportunity cost of sporting a more socially prestigious outfit.
Despite the polished prose, you've yet to grasp basic economics, unless of course people on the streets readily perceive the price of a good without the aid of socially recognized markers of worthiness.

Why is it that all your responses to me are the consequence of a either limited reading comprehension or narrow interpretive faculties?

I'll spell it out more clearly here: The social value of the tl.net logo is, for most instances, neutral, or, upon inquiry, possibly a social minus. In other words, it is approximately equal in value or slightly less to a blank white t-shirt. While this by itself doesn't equate to much in lost value, the loss of possibility of wearing a more prestigious logo makes the social cost of the t-shirt considerable. Generally we purchase something when we perceive its value to be higher than the monetary value demanded. Therefore the net loss of wearing a tl.net shirt must be calculated as follows:

(value of preferred shirt - its monetary cost) - (value of tl.net shirt - its monetary cost)

could you explain what "social cost" means? define "social value".

For me the tshirt has nothing to do with "social" value or even economic value. The only reasons why I would get one is because i love this place and many of the people who have posted here for a long time. And I have bin here forever it feels like(i had one account that was banned long long time ago, and after that Ive had this one). I would wear it everytime I went to a different country, you never know who you would encounter

In my extensive life experience, I have yet to come across a more prestigious logo than the TeamLiquid pony. It is safe to say that you are maximizing your social gain by wearing official TL apparel. If this is not your experience, it may be the view above the shirt that is hurting your value, rather than what drapes your frame.

QFT

I have to wait 4-6 weeks from the time of ordering so I guess that's another 2 and a half to 4 and a half weeks before I get mine.

PS: I find it frankly a little disturbing that someone with under 10 posts ordered a shirt lol. Oh well.

EDIT:
Thanks for making me feel fat, 'chelle.
