Megaman 2. Check, of course Dragon Quest 4. The Gypsy battle was my fav song in the whole game. I'm glad it beat out all the other songs that tend to be all over youtube, even though I can't find a single Gypsy dance theme. I'm glad it beat out all the other DQ4 songs (other than prelude, but wtf, like that counts!) | ||

Bookmarking this for future reference / listening. Totally looking forward to listening to all of these later  .I wonder whether #24 is The Decisive Battle (the normal boss theme, which rocks) or The Fierce Battle (the Atma Weapon / Statues boss theme, which is okay, but I like the other one much more  ).Can't leave without posting some of my favourite songs from the shmup genre. Ikaruga - Chapter 4 (mp3) (vid) - Orchestral track, kind of slow and calm but also "encouraging" / "hopeful" (not sure how to describe it). Mushihimesama - Stage 1 (mp3) (vid) - Synthesized track, fast-paced and joyful. Dodonpachi - Stage 1 (mp3) (vid) - Synthesized track, similar feel to the Ikaruga Chapter 4 song, imo. | ||

 . ("Fighting of the Spirit" is the only track from Tales of Phantasia that's better, imo.)... Actually, I take that back. I've been feeling terribly beat-down with schoolwork recently, but listening to these songs makes me feel a lot better and motivated to study again. ... On the other hand, it's probably not wise to absorb new music when you have an exam in 6 hours and you're trying to absorb the material for that as well. During the exam, my mind is going to be somewhere between the constraint equations and the decisive battle. Edit: YES IT IS THE DECISIVE BATTLE! HELLLL YEAAAHHH! Edit2: Aww it doesn't loop  .Edit3: But the next song is really neat so I'm happy again .Edit4: ... I just realized Dr. Willy's name is actually Dr. Wily :O. Edit5: Wow, song #10 is terrific! Does anyone know where I can get the MP3 for it?  | ||

Though I suppose my post could've been read in a way that it really didn't say anything, so that's fair. If only they allow you to listen to the said new music during the exams, it would actually be a lot better. > < If you don't mind me being too lazy to confirm whether the track I have is the track used in the video, I can upload something in a bit for Will of Silver/Silver Will. I have some Falcom soundtracks sitting about unsorted EDIT - Sorry, hm, looks like the cue files are rather messed up, it'll take me a while before I can do anything. So I went to the prof's office and apparently the exam turned into a take-home exam, since none of my 4 classmates was even close to finishing it. Ironically, this was NOT what I wanted: now I have to spend even more time writing the exam, then spend extra time double-checking all my answers to make sure there are no mistakes. But on the plus side, now I actually CAN write it while listening to the new music  . | ||
