From what I've watched when I was in Korea, they're all pretty good. As is this Canadian. Anyway, the guy who gets called out, Lee Song Won, asks the girl (Dominique Noel?) what's hard about Korean. She immediately responds, saying "언어 때문에". I'm not fluent enough to know exactly what she's referring to--could be the numerous loanwords in Korean, or she's just saying it's tough because it's a foreign language. Probably the latter. What everyone thought she was saying, which instigated the hilarious responses, is "너 때문에" which means "because of you". I guess everyone took it to mean "Korean is hard because of you!" And the rest of the vid is her trying to clear everything up. | ||
