Haha that "weird cricket thing" is exactly what you said. It's a cricket lol. Specifically though it's what's commonly called (at least in America) a Jerusalem/Mormon cricket or Potato Bug. It's not the same species that we have here in California but I can get it down to Family: Stenopelmatidae.

Sorry to be the nature-lover here, but this is wrong, having two animals kill each other for sport is not cool. Them being insects should not justify the fight ether. If Micheal Vick can go to jail for it, so should they.

it was there on the floor of the snack bar behind the counter Oh ok, sounds pretty worth it then. Insects are pretty healthy for you actually but growing up in USA makes it hard to look past the cultural views on insects as food.

it was there on the floor of the snack bar behind the counter You ate an innocent insect, ending its life merely for a mini pizza and soda? How could you do that! Thats just so cruel
I mean, inflicting such pain an torment on a creature can't be justified. (except if it was some damn good pizza)

Still, eating something alive isn't the right punishment for murder ;p

Well I wasn't the one who ate it so I can't really say. You're assuming it was innocent, I'm assuming it wasn't. It's dead though so I guess we'll never know...
