With that release this is definitely a major issue and it's pathetic there isn't nonpartisan, unified push back. The further question is if Trump disliked Acosta so much, why did he call on him? Trump was ready to pick a fight with the press and cover for the overt attempts to derail Mueller's investigation. Not that it will do anything. Mueller knew this was going to happen at some point and most of the investigation has been referred to other offices. His final report is the only thing at real risk. On a side note: There is a pretty sound argument that the Interim AG is bound by the actions of the previous AG, including recusel. She didn't 'collapse in court', she fell in her office some time in the evening hours then went home. She then went to the hospital the next morning. I'd normally shrug off your comment as semantics but given your history I doubt it was a mistake. From all the evidence available, Nettles doesn’t read news or much first hand reporting. He receives all of his updates through third parties or other sorts of conspiracy theory filters.

Outside of Vermont and Maine every state unfairly restricts the voting rights of people caught up in the US justice system and that includes states that have been Dem controlled for a long time. Yeah, and if Dem states ever change due a referendum they'll also probably do it at a major election despite it making little sense. I mostly just think it's odd from a democratic standpoint to place massive enfranchisement (or disenfranchisement) measures at the same time at major elections that have years (or in the event of some appointments lifetime) of consequences, and considering the GOP has trifecta control of Florida I find them to be particularly poor at pretending to be impartial with their reasoning.

I assume you wouldnt be saying this if Thomas broke his ribs tripping on the stairs to the court house. Or is susceptibility to injury a SCOTUS criteria now?

Sure, i’d say Thomas should retire if that happened.35% of people over 65 who fracture ribs contract pneumonia.Best to retire, reduce stress and heal up.Those bones don’t heal as fast as they used to.

If one was to ask RBG to do this I imagine her response would be "over my dead body." Only way she is leaving while Trump is President is in a casket.

I agree, plus I know she remains as active as she can, so I believe that despite the risks associated with this kind of injury to someone that old, she'll make a complete recovery and serve until at least 2020

The notorious RBG isn't going to retire over a few broken ribs. She will retire the same was Scalia did.

There also seems to be a russiabot campaign to spread the false idea that the protests have been delayed or cancelled.

Florida and recounts, name a more iconic duo. Reading everything regarding Broward County is amazing. Apparently some school teacher found a random box labeled “Provisional ballots” left behind at the school she works at. The fuck is wrong with American election infrastructure. I'm almost expecting Florida to find some random box of votes from the Gore vs. Bush election at this rate.

It is amazing seeing this much silence and how blatant the censorship is. I'm really worried.

I understand that Trump and the news have tried to turn elections into pro-wrestling, but it is still just politics. Trump didn't sweep either. He barely won and his part lost seats in his election. People looking for instant gratification and overwhelming victories will always be disappointed by politics. Speaking of, this touches on that a little bit.

Not to be rude, but the only time I ever heard about these protests was you or someone else posting here about them. Did they even happen? Was there even a thousand protesters?

Was there even a thousand protesters? They're been planned for a long time now, probably more than a year. They're starting now. The start time was called for tonight, that's why it's news. Some singular events (of which there are many hundreds split across every state; most of the bigger cities) are hitting hundreds to thousands of protesters per but overall turnout isn't very clear at the moment with the scale of the censorship and minimal coverage of the initial event from mainstream media.
