Space combat had at the least a kayfabe level of "ships do fighting and this fighting is relevant" now it doesnt have that. You can retroactively ruin other films when you mess with the basic premise of those films when you consider those other films to be in the same universe.
If in the next spiderman movie its revealed that he actualy has lizard powers it would ruin the first movie because he had spider powers then.

I am being a bit hyperbolic and making a joke about tolerance as people who use the term SJW view the world.
I don’t like violence, but understand that the rules and laws are sometimes rigged so one group can’t win. Like labor in the 1910-1930s, who had to go through a lot of violence to get the right to have simple things, like 8 hour work days and 60 hour work week. Riots are rarely single sided affairs too, where the government tries to stop protests and receives an aggressive response.

If the NYT is smart, they'll drop Jeong like they did with the other editorial staff member who posted on Twitter like she was on 4chan. You really have to wonder how poorly they vet social media if they let posts like that slip by their filters in the hiring process.

God forbid we talk about how space combat is forever now and retroactively ruined in the property for the sake of a single shot. SJWs didn't create scifi they ruin everything they touch beacuse they inherently don't understand basic storytelling. If they did they wouldn't let their passion for social justice get in the way of a good story. That's the difference between SJWs and regular people who want equality. Star Wars space everything dumb and makes no sense. It is one step above Flash Gordon in how silly it is. You can’t ruin space combat that never made sense to begin with. You can’t retroactively ruin other films that previously came out either. The all ladies ghost busters didn’t kill your childhood, all of that is impossible.
It's about suspension of disbelief. As long as things make sense within the universe of the story, they're okay. When they aren't then there's a problem.

Yes all of this. I don't think the appropriate response is to fuel the fires by banning it. Depressing to think that we would need to. Best thing Obama did in office was increase math and science standards [in public schools], might still be a while before we see results lol.

A federal judge ruled Thursday that a former assistant to Roger Stone must testify before the grand jury convened by special counsel Robert Mueller.
As the Washington Post first reported, Chief Judge Beryl Howell rejected Andrew Miller’s challenge to Mueller’s subpoenas on the grounds that the entire special counsel investigation was unconstitutionally overbroad in its scope.
The ruling does not refer to Miller by name, but Miller’s attorney, Paul Kamenar, confirmed to the Post that it related to the request brought by his client.
“We’re disappointed with the court’s ruling,” Kamenar told the newspaper. “But the judge obviously took our challenge to Mueller’s constitutionality seriously as evidenced by the 93-page opinion.”

However, I am also self aware enough to know that my own race of white people can be a hot pile of super trash and is not called out of their bullshit enough. I don’t endorse every one of those tweets, but I’m not so easily put out that I’m going to believe that woman hate me because of my very pale skin.
