Yeah, that person is still an absolute piece of shit, but you just gave them ammunition to fight back. Why not just call them, accurately, a piece of shit? Kanye is a white supremacist. He famously said that the slaves chose to remain in bondage. He thinks he’s different from regular black people, one of the good ones, but his opinion of blacks people isn’t very high.

Three words: Jesse Lee Peterson.
(As counterintuitive as it may seem, there really do exist some black people who are white supremacists.)

No, both. For example he deducted the payments made to Stormy Daniels as a business expense. Whores aren’t a legitimate business expense.

Ok I am planning to make 3 post overall, depending on forum rules and my own conditions with middle one being just a fun jab and third one I think being most important.
So 1
I could go on with specific scholars but here are some common traits cited by numerous other individuals:
1) Anti-democratic and authoritarian? Censorship and covid passports Check 2) Single charismatic leader with an inconsistent ideology that insists they're the only one that can fix things? Check 3) Villifies cultural out-groups to rile up a base of followers? Check 4) Treats political opponents as enemies and uses aggressive/violent language against them? Check 5) No respect for checks on power and will use both public and private institutional power against enemies illegally? Check 6) Hypernationalism with strong tinges of imperialism? Check 7) Hyper-masculine, focus on traditional gender roles, family values, and "hero/warrior" mythos? Check .
This is decscription of pretty much any government ever, just for fun lets see if it apply for Democrats:

1) Anti-democratic and authoritarian?Censorshi and covid passports Check 2) Single charismatic leader with an inconsistent ideology that insists they're the only one that can fix things? describing Trump as Charismatic is somewhat over the line, regarding ideology, any insight on Saudi Arabia? Check 3) Villifies cultural out-groups to rile up a base of followers? You mean calling them: racist, homophobes, fascists, white supremacists?Check 4) Treats political opponents as enemies and uses aggressive/violent language against them? Point 3 again? Check 5) No respect for checks on power and will use both public and private institutional power against enemies illegally? See Twittwer files? Check 6) Hypernationalism with strong tinges of imperialism? Ironically Trump as I recall reading somewhere was the first US president since 2000 who didnt start any war Check 7) Hyper-masculine, focus on traditional gender roles, family values, and "hero/warrior" mythos? Enter Wunder Kind Zelensky Check .
Now specifically to points 3 and 4:

I am not sure if people here realise how ominous it sound for someone raised on WW2 history (yeah I am old) And then this comes out:

Now replace Covid with Typhus - seems familiar, doesnt it?

NFTs are used for money laundering because you can take crypto owned by anyone and use that to overpay for something so the seller gets legitimate money from “selling” their NFT at a profit. It’s not a very complicated money laundering scheme, the only real difference from classic money laundering schemes is that it’s easier because you don’t need banks or money. The response that the nation of Ukraine is the real money laundering scheme is the response of a lunatic.
Honestly, seems like your problem is that Trump wanted to join "the big guys": second biggest Democratic donor enter the room.
No need to worry though as second biggest Democratic donor seems to be going to the same prison Epstein went.

3rd one and I think most important:
Kari Lake Election case:
Most important thing - I dont care about outcome of election (as who is governor), however it seems proven beyond doubt that election wasnt flawless (so to speak).
Abstaining from governorship it is quite clear that there were issues with voting process. Surely someone should be accountable, otherwise there is possibility that election will be decided by truck drivers saying: just take as much of blue/red votes out as you can.

Uh, yeah. Kari Lake is being held accountable for being full of shit, by her losing her absurd lawsuit. She's a sore loser. Katie Hobbs won. End of conversation.

I am not sure if you understand what I am saying. My point is, that not acting at violation of election laws (which seems to be proven ) seems like dangerous precedent. That is regardless of who ends up as governor.

The Arizona state election was fine.

I don't think many people actually expected them to be full of obvious crimes, if they were the IRS would have been after him a long time ago.
Instead they were, and from the sound of it are, expected to dispel the myth of his success and expose how not rich he actually is.
The biggest chance of actual legal trouble, imo, would come from the banks looking over his returns and finding that the numbers he told them are different from what he told the government.

got a giggle at ‘seems to be proven,’ except for in a court of law, where no proof was provided, and as a result she lost the court case.
that’s good. that’s real good. stunning really that all the proof vanished once all the election deniers are in court, from Trump to tv personality Kari Lakes. wait; they’re both TV personalities. forget that sometimes

It amazing that they even use their own lack of proof as "evidence" that the courts themselves are corrupt: "See, they just dismissed the case without even wanting to see the case!"
I really hope this bullshit ends soon.

I feel like the only way for this bullshit to end is for Republican voters to oust these people in their own primaries. They need to choose conservatives who aren't election deniers / conspiracy theorists / planning literal coups. As long as these lunatics keep making it through to the general elections, their insanity will be perpetuated. Assuming that's correct - that we need to rely on better / smarter / more moral Republicans to fix this - I have no idea how long it'll take. We'll see how much of a shitshow the 2024 presidential/congressional elections end up being.

What are the odds Hogan runs for president? He doesn't bother me at all compared to just about any other candidate, but he lives just down the street from me so that could become a huge pain
