Snl had some all time worst episodes with an aggressively awkward and uncomfortable skit where they supported the guy who went to a party in New York during the bad days of the outbreak. They've really forgotten how to be funny and are limping along. If it wasn't an institution and leorn didn't have a dozen shows or something it would be cancelled really quickly. Everything is kinda bad still with the restrictions. Soaps are hilariously using maniquens and wigs to get around them not being able to be within 6 feet of each other. Biden's really got to take an example from bush on how to have people be funny when he's president. His late night game is bad. | ||

Can't really tell how serious your post is lol I also want to thank the people replying to my question about the mass shootings a bit back. Ender's (I think it was him) point about them being male dominated everywhere was a new perspective I havent looked at before as well as kwarks observation that some to many of the perpetrators seem to express rage and frustration about others(!) depriving them of something they have a right to recieve / own / posess (entitlement). The latter being true especially (mainly) with INCELS. There was another comment about killing others not being their last option. But I have to get back to that one at another time. Still unfathomable to me is the answer to the question why men in the US are so much more prone to be as desperate or depraved of something they feel belongs to them, that they are driven to do such atrocities. Why do you want to be remembered so badly, that it's entirely irrelevant if it's for something criminal, inhuman even? Doesn't happen in Norway, Finland, Switzerland where weapons are abundant as well. I read about anti-human-gun-ownership (assault rifles) picked up in the 80s or so and never looked back since. A quick wikipedia search only shows the # of shootings per year from 1980ish on. | ||

Why do you want to be remembered so badly, that it's entirely irrelevant if it's for something criminal, inhuman even? Makes more sense if you place it in the context of the origin of the US. A bunch of affluent white land/people owning/stealing men orchestrated genocide, enslaved people for profit and had the audacity to start an intercontinental war because they felt too oppressed. Add to that the prevalence of guns, woefully inadequate social welfare, failing educational system, growing wealth inequality, and a flailing white supremacist hegemony in an increasingly diverse population and it starts to look less confounding than inevitable. | ||
