This is what you've been excusing every day. He never hid who he is. There was never a shortage of people showing you who he is. You clung the wool to your eyes deliberately.

And i bet you don't even feel as stupid as you actually are, saying that. Shocking. Dude, quote whatever I've said and let's make that a starting point to whatever point you're trying to make about my responsibility and hypocrisy. How can you even complain about "shifting goalposts" when the best you've got is alleging that I cried hysteria about "people with half a brain were expressing concern of trump priming his mentally underdeveloped army of apes?" What? I don't remember being asked about what some fraction of his supporters might do if he continued not accepting the election votes and crying that it was stolen. Go tell me what you didn't like about a post, and then accuse me of shifting goalposts, because that's kind of hard to do when you're blazing out with "mentally underdeveloped army of apes." That doesn't leave me thinking, "Hey, maybe this guy has a legitimate concern and is really interested in comparing my history of posting about the Trump administration in light of recent events."

Honestly? I'm glad. It moved him, which means it'll move others. Danglars is one of the most diehard GOP partisans around (he still supports Bush and the Iraq War, iirc), so if it's beyond the pale for him, I imagine it's too far for the vast majority of people. We shouldn't mock people for changing their mind.

The people inside believe the election was stolen. Isnt it common practise to tell them what they want to hear so that they calm down and leave? They are unarmed and entered the building because the police let them. They are not terrorists, mob mentality and adrenalin make you do stupid things and it will dawn on them that they need to get the fuck out asap or they will be crucified

That's been reported by everyone.

I think once the violence is over and injured people transported to medical facilities, it's time for the Democrats to start politicizing this. Perhaps they should do daily investigations and interview every Republican who denied the election results every day while the Democrats hold power.

Hmm, need to choose different verbs than “sniping at” or “taking shots at” today Honestly Danglars I don’t know how you rile everyone up so much. I think xDaunt might have been a literal white nationalist and I still see people on here saying “xDaunt was fine, Danglars is the really bad one.” Don’t get me wrong, I’ve gotten pretty frustrated arguing with you before but I don’t know what it is about your posts that bothers people so much.

They will go home soon, no way will they hole themselves up. The fact that they even managed to get in is staggering. When was the last time any protesters entered a US Capitol building? I can't find anything on Google? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/election-us-2020-55558355 The moment they got in is at 19:44 on the feed. There was literally just 3 men on the front. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/election-us-2020-55558355 20:44 update curates the moment when the mob smashed the door. There's quite a few videos of when they entered the building. There were barely any police. What with the lack of antional guard compared to last year and Trump saying he will nver concede shortly before this all happened, it's not hard to connect that Trump and his cronies planned for all this to happen.

Republicans are going to need to see some absurdly fundamental shifts if they're going to be allowed to be a part of Americas future imo

Trump has the power to do something and not a single other person does. 'Telling them what they want to hear' could well read as 'sending a coded message to carry on or escalate'
