I'm sure it will work on a shameful amount of people but haven't we relied on witness testimony of criminals for damn near eternity? The whole origin of criminals hating 'rats' is the embodiment of this process. We've had to rely on criminal testimony for some of the largest and smallest criminal cases our country has ever seen. Thousands and thousands of cases have been built on the back of criminals testifying due to being forced or due to flipping/cooperating, wtf. What a stupid, stupid, stupid argument. edit: i get the uneasy nature of trusting a known liar/cheat/whatever but hypocrisy aside (Trump lies constantly...) testimony from those with access and receipts regardless of their criminality can definitely be useful in ongoing investigations...wtf? | ||
