At the beginning of the marathon there was someone representative and talked a bit about how much the donations really help them. When i remember it correctly. >.>

Im sure they do recognize and appreciate all the help, without showing up once in a while to say hello.

Honestly, though, at the start of the event, there was an MSF rep and he explained on stream how much the donations help, citing an example of a hospital they run for two million a year that treats hundreds of patients.
