If you overclock a athlon 2000+ (cdn $102) to a 2500+ (cdn $151) you are increasing the value of your cpu by $49. That is a pretty good overclock but it will cost you alot of time to properly stress test the system and maybe even require a more expensive heatsink/fan. The overclocking process is fairly easy but there may also be decreased stability. Now it is up to the user to determine whether or not it is worth it... A $49 increase in value isn't worth a HUGE discussion unless you think of overclocking as some kind of learning experience... | ||
