I spent about 2 months trying to find fucking mew. I looked up all the rumors, did alot of stupid random shit, and then after I traded a guy my blue dog, fire dog, electric dog, forgot what they're called so that I could somehow get a mew, he ran with my shit away. I got pissed, looked up gameshark codes and said fuck it, I'm not gonna take this shit anymore.

orginal pokemon was the best, silver and gold was good too (better graphics) and even silver, i was even ok with that cuz it had the girl but now pokemon is gay with over 1000 pokemons, new main characters, dumb games and cards. i used to love the original cards, i had 3 legendary birds, charizard was the god of the cards, it was so tight seeing one.

btw i remember doing that copy cheat, i got like 20 master balls, it was sweet

I was a freshman in highschool when this came out. recorded all the cartoons at 6 in the morning to VHS then I played the red version while my friend played blue and we battled and shit it was fun for a bit. Then the card game came out and we played a little bit but mostly found out that the game was shitty when compared to MTG so we had all first edition cards and sold them for shit loads of cash to fanatics. We had hologram Charizard, Raichu, Electabuzz, and that thunder bird.

The funny thing is I think we taped over all the pokemon tapes with pornos or boxing.

It cost 3 fire energy to use and did 100 dmg! I remember I used to have a stall deck with Alakazam and Mewtwo rofl. You transfer damage counters w/ Alakazam's special ability and then mass Pokemon center until they deck out and then mass M2 barrier.

I've given up being a pokemon master, now I'm a pokemon ranger! Drawing circles on a little screen around pokemon to share my emotions with them > catching them all.

those cards were so gosu, I never had one of em

You don't have to go to japan to get those card. You can buy them here if the dealers want to pay extra for them and you of course are will to pay the extra 50 cents per pack or whatever too.

Pokemon had the same effect to me as the OP. Watched it every morning *it was actually one of those things that got me up for school*. I got the pokemon red as a Birthday present and VIVIDLY remember that night, where I got it, what I did afterwards. Rare candies x100 anyone? Ya I was pretty gosu in my lineup, and when the cards came out, oh man!
