What is Games Done Quick?
Games Done Quick is a bi-annual charity gaming marathon. Volunteers play games at incredible speed ("Speedrunning") for entertainment. The event is streamed live online, non-stop, and all donations go directly to the charity (Doctors Without Borders this time). This is the summer event, with a winter event starting every January.

I was waiting for this thread to be created. I hate how this is coinciding with DOTA 2 TI5 wild card and group stage this week, really sucks but I guess the scheduling and booking of facilities was unavoidable. Hopefully I can try to watch SGDQ and at least one game of TI5 as much as I can
And is it me or does AGDQ and SGDQ year after year look bigger and bigger in terms of live audience?

Yes this despite being SGDQ, is the biggest event in GDQ history.

I am not too incredibly hyped about the games(/runners) run this year. Oh well, will be great regardless, as always.

Sonic Advance runs are "legit", fun to watch, but not nearly as funny.

One of my favorite console game ever is sonic adventure 2. Fantastic game.
For a dreamcast game (and then a gamecube re-release) its pretty well done.
