This is very accurate. To people who say it's weird we don't share cones/bowls, I think this is because the bowls/conepeices you buy here are quite small. There isn't a whole lot of point to sharing. I would say that most people I know don't use homemade bongs anymore (but this was standard when I was 15/16), small glass bongs are cheap and easy to purchase in my area along with pipes. I agree that it's also very rare to see someone with a vape and I think this is because you pretty much can't find a store selling vaporizers, at least in my area. I have a vape that I bought online and I don't know anyone else who has one. I really feel like people in Australia don't appreciate weed fully and certainly don't appreciate the culture that comes with it. There is no appreciation for well-made glass pieces. A lot of people mix tobacco with their weed (i don't) and I'm under the impression this is very abnormal in the US? Most people have no clue what a vaporizer is or where to get one. I think most importantly, people around here don't understand how cannabis works, how it's grown, what makes it more effective, sativa/indica, etc. Sometimes it really bums me out yo. youngminjj, I highly suggest you google some brownie/cookie/firecracker recipes man. Edibles are awesome and I'm sure you will really enjoy them.

For my friends and I it was because you had to be 18 to buy glass. the cannabis culture is pretty strong here, most like to share and pass around a bowl. Spinning would def. get you some weird looks.

We don't really have names for our stuff, but we do make up names. I'm from Canada. Unless you know the grower or goto the care club you won't know the stain. It always annoys me when people believe their low level dealer. I can make up names for mid grade buds to sell them at high prices too. I think it makes people feel good for some reason, they can go brag to their friends about their "sour diesel".

I enjoy having a little tobacco in my joints because it really helps it burn slower and more evenly, no canoeing (when one side of the joint burns faster than the other sides) and it gives it a really nice taste. Me and my friends all smoke or used to smoke cigarettes. I quit cigarettes but I still enjoy the taste so Spliffs are the main way I get that.

Yeah, that's bugged me too. So many guys on this thread like "Man I got some sick Seattle Supersonic, and some White Widow, plus Blueberry Kush from my dealer, so excited". Unless you're buying from a medical dispensary or the grower, then I'm afraid you've probably been sold regular shit. It just makes me laugh, I have a buddy who is just like this. You're partly right about the naming here in Canada McDylan. I asked my grower (I buy straight from him) what strand he had. "Dunno" is the response I got, so even the growers don't always know (mind you, he's not big time or anything...) On the topic of Canadian trends though, I think it varies region to region. In Ottawa, we use filter in our joints. My buddies from further south (Windsor area) don't... they find it weird. I think it's American influence affecting them from Detroit. Also, I've gotta ask while I'm here: what's the deal with Americans cutting open cigars/cigarellos, emptying them, and then rolling a blunt with it? Do you not have blunt wraps or zigzags down there? Maybe they're harder to find, since it's way more illegal down there, but I never understood why you'd destroy a perfectly good cigar to smoke weed...

Cigars and wraps are available at basically every single store that carries tobacco. One thing I noticed was that there was always a much larger variety in the cigars. The wraps would only have one choice and the cigars would have dozens. That's just my experience though. I also would prefer a cigar than a blunt wrap, they always come out better. Although that could have something to do with the limited choice in wraps. Price is the other factor a cigar will cost .75c while wraps cost more.

That's really weird, mainly because up here you go to a smoke shop and there are literally a hundred different wraps to choose from. Then again, these "smoke shops" are exclusively weed paraphenalia-based, not tobaccoists...

And underage kids can't go in them.

That means I need to cigar with a FULL leaf to peel off. That way you get the large "paper" and a tobacco leaf to wrap it up and make it all perfect and fancy. Add some hash oil coating, you and your bro's gonna have a goooood time. Also, wraps just taste shitty and artificial after smoking a really really nice blunt. This guy does it right.

Heavy Indicas will give you a body stone and 99% of the time that's what you're buying from a dealer as the crops yield more bigger and denser nugs. But if you smoke a very Sativa-dominant strain, I don't know many people who would say that they are stoned, it's more of a cerebral high. I r confused ![]() BRB, gonna smoke a bowl and see if I can understand all this better :D ![]()
