EDIT: I guess since I lost my original post I'll pose a question to you TL stoners: have any of you tried making a tincture or hash from keif? I've been getting some niiiiice nugs recently that have been raking in the keif but I've never been sure what to do with it other than put it on top of a bowl and smoke that, which i feel like might be kind of a waste. How is a tincture (everclear/ keif mixture agitated for a while from what I understand) experience? How about making hash from keif? About how much would I need for either? Again, please go easy with the warns if this isn't the place for questions, oh kind mods. <3 OH SHIT, through some wizardry I found my original post! Last night's story: + Show Spoiler + So I'm on a college campus at the moment where there is no way in hell i would even try risking bringing weed in (lots of security due to being in detroit) but I'm prescribed klonopin and "I guess I had already forgotten taking them" a few times last night. I dozed off on a couch and every time I would almost come to, I'd think I had my lighter in my hand that was hanging over the edge and I thought to myself "I need to put that away". And then I'd realized I had nothing in my hand, and that I didn't even have a lighter with me since I don't smoke cigarettes. I'd doze off again. This continued a few times and each time I'd think it was a different object. Heh. I wouldn't recommend fucking around with pharms though, at times when I miss a dose or I take too many I feel like I'm going crazy, seeing things in my peripheral vision move when I'm the only one here and getting really freaked out by sudden loud noises among other, darker things... AHHH SHIT, this thread just reminded me I was supposed to take it easy and skype with my stoner buddy from the Netherlands last night and watch a movie or just shoot the shit or something. As far as making stuff from kief, that's a big waste of the good stuff. If you're looking to make a tincture/oil/ISOhash, yo're better off using shake or regs. You can get a pollen press and press your keif into hash if you'd like, but my preferred method is to put a bit of bud in a bowl, then a sprinkle layer of keif then top it with more bud. I like this method the best because then you get the added delight of the keif in the bowl, but you don't end up torching it if you had it just sprinkled on top. I remember reading somewhere that the direct flame os too much for the keif and it destroys some of the potency. As far as the high/stoned thing goes; for me I'd call it more stoned when u've got that crazy couchlock and dont want to move at all. High i guess could be a more allpurpose word? but in the end who cares :D whatever you want to call it, it's time to SPARK ONE! This bowl is for the one and only djWheat for giving up a crazy-stupid amount of his personal time to create content for this awesome community! Thanks dude! | ||

(I'm at MSU) Anyways got this fb message from my neighbor last night (pretty decent looking girl) + Show Spoiler + hey neighbor, so u were slightly cooler when the ditzy girls weren't around lol but since we are neighbors we should chill sometime and smoke a bowl or have a beer...u can knock on the door or ask my number Followed by: Idk ur policy on day smoking... Or even if u do smoke lol... But I wanna smoke a bowl after work around 4... Wanna come blaze? I think i'll join her...see how this goes ^_^ | ||

Alright, I'd be delighted if you would pm me that stuff. I was under the impression it was better to save the keif and make things with it than to add it to some bowls. Although I'm glad I asked because I definitely would've sprinkled it on top had I not read that. I'd like to make a tincture though because I'm on my girlfriend's campus and there's pretty much NO WAY to get away with smoking here unless we left campus and went to some of the not-so-safe areas of the city. We'd much rather be able to just consume and relax right in the dorm/ apartment but there's no way we would get away with any amount of smoke being produced. On the topic of high vs stoned, I see it this way: Stoned is where no matter what, you won't want to move (or will have incredible difficulty). You have ridiculous and silly thoughts, and in this state people WILL notice you're high unless you're used to being in this state and can hide it well. You also might have some crazy cool daydreams that can be used as inspiration for something else. To be stoned requires multiple bowls/ joints/ whatever unless you truly do have the best goddamn bud around (at least in my experience). When I'm STONED, my movement is very sluggish. High is anything between a buzz off a bowl of regs and stoned. You'll have a nice head buzz going and you might feel it in your body too. It's very easy to act normal/ sober while high as long as it isn't your first time toking, even if it feels like everyone around you knows. There's hardly any loss of motor coordination while high and your mental processing might be a little slow. Bottom line, as long as nobody sees how red your eyes are and you don't reek, you could be high as a kite in public and nobody would notice as long as you acted normal. So yes, there is quite a difference, at least in my opinion. | ||

I think i'll join her...see how this goes ^_^ I'm currently not going to school because I can't afford it + I'm unemplyed but I'm visiting/ staying with my girlfriend at CCS in detroit, it's an art school and the block it's on is really nice and then you walk 2 or 3 blocks in any direction and you start to get worried lol. It's nice here though and the view from the student housing is beautiful. Also niiice, even if you're not all that into your neighbor you should take the chance and see how it goes. Maybe you'll come back with a story for this thread.  | ||

I just played a legit night of poker with some friends for cash for the first time, and I made it to the top. pleasantly surprised I held my own. Once 3rd placer got eliminated, we just split the grand pot and 50/50'd the buy-ins. Was 200$+ altogether, feeling good. I had more chips than him but we were playing for like 4 hours and just wanted to wrap it up.  | ||
