Nostalgia story incoming:
So when I was about 12 or 13, I smoked weed for the first time with my older brother. He would be have about 16 or so. My brother had gotten stoned a few times before at this point I'm assuming, but this was my first encounter with it, and I had no knowledge of weed whatsoever.
We were catching a ride with our boss (me and my bro worked at a pizza joint) to a party of his. I don't even know how this happened. Our boss was probably about 30, and the party was revolving around a WWE event. Wrestlemania main match I believe - Shawn Michaels vs HHH possibly?. We were all big wrestling fans I guess. Everyone at this party turned out be in their last 20's/early 30's like our boss.
This happened to be the first time I ever drank alcohol too actually. Me, my bro, and my bro's best friend were sharing a 40 of gin with a 2L of Sprite and a 2L of something else for chase. From the moment we left work in the truck to god knows how long after Wreslemania was over, we had been smoking weed, passing joints amongst the three of us and getting drunk.
So obviously, the three of us are fucked up to hell come the end, and I don't know how I didn't end up vomiting everywhere. I ended up rolling around on the front lawn while the sprinklers were on just giving her though. I'll never forget this night lol. Eventually it's like 2am and we decide to go home, realizing we have no idea how we are going to achieve that. I don't know what happened to my bro's friend at this point, but he just seemed to have vanished, so we and my bro came up with the brilliant idea of stealing bikes and biking home. We were probably about 10km away from home.
After not too long my bro finds a bike not locked up on some guys lawn, so we take it. There was only one bike though, so we rode together, with me on the back. I don't know why we didn't just look a bit longer and find a second bike, but we didn't. After not too long, my brother is zoning out and not using the brakes on the bike, so he doesn't hear me yelling on the back telling him to slow down because I'm falling off. We're going pretty fast down a steep road and I fall off the back and roll in to the ditch. I don't remember feeling much pain though, thanks to the alcohol. My bro ends up continuing on home by himself and I walked the rest of the way.
That was the first and only time I smoked with my brother... until today, sort of. A couple weeks ago we were talking to our step-mom and the subject came up, with us both appearing rather ashamed when we admitted to blazing. I didn't even know he still smoked at the point, since I never saw even the slightest sign of my brother smoking following the experience I had described above.
The other day I moved in with my bro and another roommate, and he asked what that was that I had in the ziplock container of weed butter I made a week or two ago. I told him it was "special butter", and eventually he got the hint. The subject of smoking came up the past couple days, and we made a bunch more pot cookies and ate them together. We just finished watching Half Baked and laughed our asses off. I'm glad I was able to kind of clear the water with that one and finally have some nostalgic moments with my brother.

Does anyone have any info about smoking with cigarette filters? How much of the THC gets filtered out exactly? If it's percentage-wise as much or more than normal smoke I would have to smoke more for the same high and harm my lungs as much or more. But if it is any less I'll waste weed but protect my lungs a bit from some damaging stuff at least...

If you get a high quality vape they come with a little plastic "pillow". You fill it up with vapor and sit back and take hits out of it, oh it's cosy. But I understand what you mean smoking is fun.
