I would like to share something. I bought a volcano about two years back. It was a really bad decision. The volcano is an awesome product. Pack it up with quality weed and you'll never be more stoned in your life. Its fairly healthy too. But thinking about how much money you spend on it ... plus the weed ... I came to the realization that it was just a step too far. And I don't mean financially. The thought that I'm spending all this money just to get high ... feels bad, man. I had it about a month before I sold it. Tossed my bong as well. Went back to a cheap $5 pipe and occasional smoking. Never looked back. Sometimes you need to stop and just examine what you're doing with yourself and your life. The volcano was an experience I'll never forget. I definitely recommend trying out vaporizers if you can. But be smart. | ||

 I think it would be cool to have a vapourizer, but I don't have the money for it. My pipe does its good, but I would imagine vapourizers are nice for chilling with multiple friends, rather than everyone busting out their pipe or passing a single one. edit: not high btw, i don't really have the time for it at the moment, but I'm done school til september starting on monday! ~5 more days to go! :D | ||

Went back to a cheap $5 pipe and occasional smoking. Never looked back. Sometimes you need to stop and just examine what you're doing with yourself and your life. The volcano was an experience I'll never forget. I definitely recommend trying out vaporizers if you can. But be smart. --Disclaimer, by no means am I attacking you or your life choices/situations-- Sorry to step in here but make sure to do the same reflection on other portions of your life. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to buy that 30,000 automobile, when you could have bought the 15,000 one and invested the other 15K. You can extrapolate that into all facets of consumerism/materialism. Your reasoning for cutting back on mary-jane and selling the volcano are sound, but make sure to not just look - objectively - at your weed smoking habits, but also your other habits. That is unless you really, truly feel the need and desire to cut back and/or quit. I just say that as most of the time its other cultural or relational influences that paint a fun/harmless/positive habit in a bad color. | ||

volcanos are great, but a bit overpriced. if you were to get a vaporizer i would suggest the vaporbros whip style one. they're way cheaper, work very well, and you can scrape the glass fittings for hash after its been used for awhile (sort of like how you would scrape resin from a pipe, but this isn't tar and ashes its just thc) | ||

I just say that as most of the time its other cultural or relational influences that paint a fun/harmless/positive habit in a bad color. to clear up, i was referring to the volcano itself, not weed smoking in general. i mean, all it does is get you high(er?), and doesn't have much use beyond that ... a 30,000 car gets you from A to B like a cheap car, but it could go faster, could have more features/options, maybe larger vehicle, all kinds of different uses and such. but volcanoes are just crazy expensive for only one purpose ... going by the very same analogy, you could be just as well off with rolling and get just as high ... sure it wont be healthier, but then you get back to asking yourself how much weed are you really smoking for that to matter. good food for thought but yea, if y'all want to even try vaporizers ... stop by toronto. there's a place called vapor central. bring some bud and $5 and have fun ... | ||
