I run it on my laptop (I always have my room light on when using my desktop) and I can say it has helped me sleep earlier after being on the computer at night.

it doesn't make you sleep better, it reduces eye strain (which i guess could indirectly help)........incredibly useful and awesome program though, been using it for a year.

I heard about it from Illusion when he was still on quantic. He gave it a shoutout on stream, so there is at least one endorsement

I've used it since it first came out. It has helped me so much, especially since I do most of my school programming work in the evening and it gets dark here early for half the year.

I've been using f.lux for about a year now and it's so awesome~~ Makes me last longer and also makes my laptop screen easier to look at no matter where I am ^_^

I just started using it for around 4 months and it helps quite a lot actually.
my eyes got really tired after I play a few games of league and this program helped me quite a bit

Bright Ligt -> increase in serotonin -> disruption to sleep cycle = Harder to go to sleep

Ya, this is a nice program if anyone hasn't tried it yet. I feel like I'm sleeping much better after installing it, definitely worth a try.

Anyone doubting the effectiveness of this program should browse the internet for an hour then turn it off suddenly. It will feel like your eyes are on fire. This program is the first thing I install when I format my pc. It's really good.

I've been using it for more than a year now. It is very useful for late night gaming when you don't want all the graphics screwing with your eyes. I even have the daytime lighting lower since my room is a bit darker than normal during the day. It's pretty much a spectacular piece of software.

You will not notice it is on after a week or so. For people who also use their phone in bed late at night I recommend the app twilight, same thing jsut for your phone.

as with all good things, you will only notice it when its gone

I use that app as well, and yeah it's hella useful. I turned it off yesterday and my eyes almost burned from the light lol
