OK so I read every one of your replies and fuck it, I'm gonna talk to this girl.
I realize that the more I stew over it, the worse it is for me. Even if she totally ignores me, I figure I at least need the closure of knowing I didn't have a chance, instead of always wondering what if. I mean she's on my mind all the time. I have it bad. I even see her initials randomly whenever I read anything. (Her initials are T.B.) It's that bad.
You guys are right. It's time to grow a set of balls.
I'm going to go do it tomorrow.
I read everything people said, and I think I know what to do. Don't be an asshole, be confident, notice her eyes, and try to ask her for coffee.

I just find it odd that most teenage boys freeze up when it comes to talking to a girl. I could see if you had to streak past her naked in slo-mo, with minus 40degree temperatures (shrinkage), but to simply walk up to someone and strike up a conversation, seems to me like something a normal person might do everyday anyway. I dunno, just doesnt seem all that nerve racking.

i'm betting he chickened out. but anyway, i wouldn't be randomly asking out some chick at the coffee shop or whatever. if you happen to have an affinity with her or you can genuinely make her smile and laugh everytime you see her then yeah go for it. otherwise i doubt you'd get a date. i have a few chick friends who work in retail and they get more than their fair share of guys hitting on them throughout the day. i'm sure she'll take it as a compliment though if you did go through with it (and she said no thanks).
