Go back to writing EU politics fanfic, Nettles. Your take on reality really doesn't match. A lot of these particular leaders are unpopular, yes, and will probably be ousted, but the EU as an idea retains popularity in most of the key states. The only ones with a reasonable-high likelihood of trying to leave are Italy and maybe Greece. | ||

About the only thing you said that was of real consequence was that the economies of Italy and Greece are bad. Small bad decisions build up to big ones when you don't have control over currency inflation. People are understandably angry that Germany holds so much of the wealth, but Europe rises and falls all together. | ||

I put Italy and Greece in the same boat as us, where the idea has gained some ground with the populace. So I think it's possible they will. Of course it's equally possible that they're waiting to see how Brexit treats us before they jump, and the projections on that score aren't nice right now. | ||
