Didn't really say much about who Pharrell is or what he's done in the past (as in the Rodgers/Moroder episodes). Do we really care that he wants to be sitting in his car by the beach for his first listen to the album?

I don't know anyone who would save posts by people in some mad gambit that one day they'd be able to collect them all together to prove some weird point.

Not to hate, I like to listen to electro sometimes but it's not as good as people make them out to be.

But I do consider Discovery to be the single greatest House album ever made and would put along side Thriller and Dark Side of the Moon... I think Discovery might actually be my favourite album, period, even though I'm not particularly in love with any of the individual songs. it just flows so well together.

They sound pretty much the same as the other French electro disco artists like Sebastian and Justice, then there's MSTRKRFT and Crookers etc. Not to hate, I like to listen to electro sometimes but it's not as good as people make them out to be. Sebastian and Justice make remixes of daft punk and the others weren't even in diapers when Daft Punk was killing the electro scene. Not to hate, but Daft Punk is in a league of its own.

But you have to see the context of when they released Homework in 1997, it was an amazing piece, pushing electronic music into the mainstream by itself. At the time, many underground artists were experimenting with electro, but Daft Punk got it right, they showed the way to everyone. That is a memory you can't remove, and we are many who have experienced that, and can't wait for them to do it again ![]()

The fact you think sebastiAn and daft punk sound similar blows my mind. They sound nothing alike.
