Every few hours there is more breaking news, but it's basically this:
1) North Korea readies its weapons 2) North Korea readies its weapons further, they are now officially on alert 3) North Korea is unhappy with how things are progressing, so they ready their weapons to readiness level 2 4) North Korea's leader signs an order to place the military on a state of maximal readiness 5) North Korea has decided maximum readiness isn't enough, so they have created a new, higher category of readiness 6) South Korea thinks they might have evidence of North Korea increasing their readiness even further

NK thinks they are Goku, but they are actually Hercule Satan.
|
NK is playing way to dumb this time, the US should immediately send an additional carrier group and some tactical nuclear subs in the area ...
|
did you guys not see? the b2 bombers that we were running over there are "spirit bombers"
we are powering up the spirit bomb... get ready north kofrieza!

But Satan saved the world, when Goku couldn't gather the earth's energy for the spirit bomb to kill buu. So he's the real hero!

Very interesting. Well in all fairness, when you hear Apple zealots praising Steve Jobs, or North Koreans talking about their beloved leader, it's not all that different
Well, there's one huge and very important difference, though: Kim Jong-un isn't a true god
Jokes aside, it seems I was wrong with my earlier speculation; Kaesong is still up and running.
The Kaesong plant, just across the heavily fortified Demilitarized Zone that separates the Koreas, normally relies on a military hotline for the governments to coordinate the movement of goods and South Korean workers.
Without the hotline, the governments, which lack diplomatic relations, used middlemen. North Korea verbally approved the crossing Thursday and Friday of hundreds of South Koreans by telling South Koreans at a management office at the Kaesong factory. Those South Koreans then called officials in South Korea.

It's getting boring already, and I think NK is just bluffing that they can hit the West Coast.

Few more weeks like this and this psycho will get what he deserves.

Speaking of the psycho, do we know where he studied abroad assuming he did?

Isn't it pretty accepted that Jong-Un is just doing this to stir up nationalism in NK/ reenforce his image as a leader? If you are really intending on attacking someone, why spend weeks sending them warnings and showing 'detailed' plans of where you will strike?
And I refuse to believe anyone is dumb enough to think that NK can achieve anything through an invasion or attack. Even their leaders. They are capable of what, shelling SK for a few days and maaaaaybe a missile strike elsewhere? Of course it would be tragic for those who actually get hit, but the war wouldn't be a very long one.
What baffles me is how crazy the media is going with this - or more specifically how much attention we are paying to this. Every day there's 3 or 4 posts on reddit, bbc articles, etc. Isn't it old news by now?
edit: I'm calling Jong-Un's next message to be a deadline or countdown of days the US has to move their army out of SK, or else. If I'm right I expect to be internet famous.

Switzerland. Wikipedia has many details if your enquiring mind needs to know.

North Korea is like the homeless guy in the alley hop up on drugs with a shank, waiting for you to turn around to stab you.

I would relate North Korea more to that annoying kid in high school who likes to talk a lot of shit, and everyone wants to beat him up because he's so damn annoying. But they can't do that because his older brother is one of the biggest kids in the school.

Actually NK is that middle manager who got anger issues, the one you must suffer because while being dumb and mean as fuck, he still think he is really important. Except it's all in his head, and in reality he's just a psychotic kid playing with legos in the middle of nuclear waste, starving bodies and a distinct lack of bacon.
Yeah that's what NK is. Or maybe not.
