The $40 you donate can be broken up across the length of the marathon. You just need to have a total donation count of at least $40 to be entered into the drawing.

To be fair, he was a software engineer for the NES. I'm hoping he meant to say 500g, which would at least put the NES at a pound and change, which seems at least somewhat plausible with the smaller top loaded system.

He probably just was thrown off the the units. If it was asked in pounds or ounces he might have been a bit closer. Chat is really hating on this guy hahaha

Dark Souls Full game by Kotti Friday, Jan 11 7:00am CET (GMT+01:00) Donate $400(?) for killing Demon Firesage and Centipede Demon, donation war for choice of ending (Link the Fire vs. Dark Lord) Prizes: None Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, is known to be one of the most challenging games in the recent years. This time ringing the bells and gathering lord souls isn't going to take countless hours and deaths thanks to some well chosen pyromancies that will make the bosses fall in a matter of seconds. I will wake up if I need to.

Not to mention the fact that timed donations usually have a massive influx of donations at the end, due to people holding their money. I think that breaking 250k is possible, and I really hope that they do.

Here the donations are going slower than yesterday I think, and it's already impressive. Given the popularity of the games (and of Cosmo/Siglemic) in the last 24 or so hours, I expect a huge success toward the end. It's really awesome imho. Loving the current run btw =)
