Breaking down genres is unnecessarily complicated. Did you know there are actual debates on whether Zelda is an RPG or not? Is Braid a platformer or puzzle game? Is Mega Man 2 a platformer? Will you have 2D platformers and 3D platformers separate? What about jRPG and wRPG? Action vs Action Adventure vs Adventure, what's the difference? Please, forget genres. Let the top games stand on their own. | ||

Also I'd like to nominate for the RTS category: Company of Heroes Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor First one kicked ass, then the expansions sucked.. gj relic. EVE also needs nominated for the MMO category, its an historic game. And for RPGs you must include The Witcher and The Witcher: Assassins of Kings. The second one having one of the best game intro sequence ever. | ||

My vote for best single player game goes to Planescape Torment and for multiplayer I will have to go with Starcraft BW. Honorable mentions go to Dark Souls and Deus Ex. | ||
