So to answer your question, he will slow down when the air gets "thicker" also at that point he can make himself larger by (laying flat, extending arms and legs).

terminal velocity of a human at normal parachute heights can reach speeds up to 210mph.

Terminal velocity is when the gravity force upon an object is equal to that of the wind resistance.

Downforce (gravity)=Upforce (wind resistance)
